It’s a snow day here in the northeast!  The perfect day to create healthy pizzas with your little ones!  Kids love creating personal pizzas for dinner.  Nothing makes me happier than to see my girls adding peppers, broccoli and mushrooms to their healthy pizzas.  Try making these today – snowman pizzas might also be a great idea with olives and peppers for eyes, buttons and a scarf!  Here is the recipe – enjoy!

Pizza Dough

3 cups all purpose flour
1 1/4 cups warm water
1 package yeast
2 teaspoons kosher salt or reg salt
2 tablespoons olive oil

In a liquid measuring cup add the warm water, yeast and olive oil. Let sit 5 minutes until bubbly.
In a stand mixer with dough hook, place flour & salt.
Start mixer on low and add water mixture.
Let knead for 5 minutes until dough is smooth.
If sticky add flour a little at a time until you can poke finder in and not get stuck. And vice verse if dry adding a little water as needed
Pour some olive oil in large bowl and add dough rolling ball of dough in olive oil until coated.
Cover with plastic wrap and a towel and let rise for about an hour and a half until doubled in size.
Punch down and let rest for 5 minutes before making into your pizzas.
Bake at 525 for 10-12 min
